Doctor Bios:

David Springer- M.D, M.P.H.

David has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. Wallingford Pediatrics has been his private practice since 1981. He focuses on the use of complimentary care, especially homeopathy, in treating behavioral / learning difficulties and chronic illnesses. His greatest pleasure is working with parents to experience the joys of being a loving, supportive parent for children of many different backgrounds and skills. David’s strength is teaching parents within the context of their specific health belief systems. He spends time away from medicine with his wife Ronnie, enjoying meditation, yoga, writing poetry, and anticipating the exploits of his two grown children.

Bryan Dryer M.D

Dr. Dryer was born and raised in Michigan. He completed both his undergraduate and medical education at Wayne State University in Detroit. Upon completion of medical school he moved to Wisconsin where he completed his Pediatric Residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. With an adventurous spirit he left those midwest comforts for Seattle, joining Wallingford Pediatrics in November of 2008. As a newly graduated Pediatrician he is excited about developing new relationships with families in the establishment of trustworthy lines of communication. His provision of pediatric care combines traditional medical practices learned through his training with an easy going approach to sensible integrative practices. He particularly enjoys working with newborns and adolescents. Dr. Dryer boasts an uncanny nostalgia for rural wisconsin life and winter activities. His activity interests include kayaking, rowing, ultimate frisbee, trail restoration, and pond hockey.

Amye Hadley N.D. ARNP

Amye enjoys the laughter and spontaneity of working with kids, and feels continually rewarded helping children and families establish life long healthy habits. She graduated from Seattle University as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and from Bastyr University as a Naturopathic Physician. Her passion for integrating both naturopathic and western medicine guides her decisions for children's health. Amye enjoys running, yoga, hiking, camping, cooking, scuba diving, and traveling with her husband, Adam.

Elizabeth Ormond-ARNP, MN, FNP

Liking people, especially children, makes work fun. Professional and parenting experiences have helped her understand there are lots of good ways to be effective. Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Betsy has accumulated experience from pediatric intensive care to school nursing. She and her husband, Tom, have raised two children, learned to ride a tandem bike, and now enjoy their pets and getting outdoors. Betsy joined the Wallingford group in 2003.
