This hysterical satire kids book written by Adam Mansbach, intended for parents (or for those parents sleep deprived enough to read it to their newborns) is such a fun and realistic view of putting your kids to bed.  After 30 minutes of storytime, 1 hour of rocking, 30 minutes of back rubbing while leaning over awkwardly over the crib grates this rings so true.
