Bright Horizons Children's Center
The Bright Horizons Children's Center at the New York Presbyterian Hospital has one infant classroom where the children are six weeks to 12 months old; 1 one-year-old classroom where the children are 12 months to 24 months; 2 two-year-old classrooms where the children are 24 months to 3 years old; 1 three-year-old classroom; and 1 four and five-year-old classroom.
Eligibility
Children of NYP Hospital, CUMC, MSKCC, HSS, and Rock University receive priority on the waiting list. Community participants are eligible for enrollment on a space available basis.
Space Availability
The Children's Center will enroll children of NYP Hospital employees first, CUMC second, MSKCC, HSS and Rock University third, and community participants as space permits. The center works from a waiting list for all age groups to enroll children into the center
Tuition and Fees
Tuition for NYP Hospital employees is based on a sliding fee scale according to your annual combined household income. The income categories are as follows:
Under $30K a year
$30K - $37,999K a year
$38K - $48,999K a year
$50K plus
All other families pay community tuition rates. Please contact the center for specific tuitions for your child's age and preferred schedule.
Enrollment Packets
Enrollment Packets can be obtained by contacting the center directly at 212-746-6543. All forms contained in the packet must be completed and submitted prior to the child attending the center.
Registration Fee
The registration fee is $100 per child and $50 for each additional child. If there is no space available at the time, the registration fee will secure a position on the waiting list.
